• Ars Medica
  ARS MEDICA is a biannual literary journal, started in 2004, that explores the interface between the arts and healing, and examines what makes medicine an art. It remains the only medical literary journal in Canada and allows a place for dialogue, meaning-making, and the representation of experiences of the body, health, wellness, and encounters with the medical system.

• The Bellevue Literary Review
  Bellevue Hospital, the oldest public hospital in the United States, has been witness to nearly 270 years of human drama. In this tradition, the Bellevue Literary Review,a forum for illuminating humanity and human experience was created. The BLR is published by the Department of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center.
• Blood and Thunder: Musings on the Art of Medicine
  An arts journal published by the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Started by a group of first year medical students in 2001, the goal and purpose of the journal is to enhance the education of healthcare professionals through the exploration of art and to serve the community as a means for artistic expression.
• Croatian Medical Journal
  Croatian Medical Journal (CMJ) is an international peer reviewed journal open to scientists from all fields of medicine and related research. Their special interest lies in two fields. The first pertains to the medical topics relevant for global medicine. The second area is medicine in developing and emerging countries. CMJ also solicits works of art or poetry, which either deal with medicine or are produced by medical workers.
• The Healing Muse
  An annual journal of literary and visual art published by SUNY Upstate Medical University's Center for Bioethics & Humanities.
• History of the Human Sciences
  publishes critical articles from sociology, psychology, anthropology and politics, and link their interests with those of philosophy, literary criticism, art history, linguistics, psychoanalysis, aesthetics and law.
• Health Education Research
  deals with all the vital issues involved in health education and promotion worldwide - providing a valuable link between the health education research and practice communities.
• Health and History: Journal of the Australian and New Zealand Society for the History of Medicine
  The Society's journal, Health and History, is published twice yearly. Its Editor is Dr Hans Pols, Director, Unit for History and Philosophy of Science at The University of Sydney. Health and History is peer reviewed and carries high quality research papers on the history of medicine and health, book review essays and other matters of interest
• Health Information and Libraries Journal
  provides practitioners, researchers, and students in library and health professions an international and interdisciplinary forum. Its objectives are to encourage discussion and to disseminate developments at the frontiers of information management and libraries.
• Humane Medicine
  Humane Medicine is an online journal on the Art & Science of Medicine.  Their mission is to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of ideas regarding the spiritual, psychological and social basis of human well-being and to explore the interrelatedness of mind, body and spirit.
• International Journal of Healthcare and Humanities
  Published twice a year by the Penn State College of Medicine Department of Humanities, The International Journal of Healthcare & Humanities publishes original articles, essays, poetry, creative writing, photography and original artwork. The Journal specifically encourages work which examines the interface of healthcare and the humanities from a global perspective.
• Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education
  is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal integrating and coordinating basic and applied research relating to individuals who are deaf, including cultural, developmental, linguistic, and educational topics.
• Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences
  Started in 1946, the Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences is internationally recognized as one of the top publications in its field. The journal's coverage is broad, publishing the latest original research on the written beginnings of medicine in all its aspects. When possible and appropriate, it focuses on what practitioners of the healing arts did or taught, and how their peers, as well as patients, received and interpreted their efforts.   is the official scientific quarterly publication of the Medical Ethics and History of Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. • Journal of the Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry
  This society publishes scholarly articles and reviews of books on all aspects of the history of alchemy and chemistry.

  Lifelines is a publication of a the Dartmouth Medical School. It is a literary journal that seeks to weave a literary tapestry offering the much-needed creative outlet for health-care providers and patients alike.
• Literature and Medicine has published quality scholarly essays exploring interdisciplinary connections between literary understanding and medical knowledge and practice. Disease, illness and health, medical science, trauma, and the body are examined through literary, medical, and cultural texts.
• Medical History
  Medical History is a refereed journal devoted to all aspects of the history of medicine and health, with the goal of broadening and deepening the understanding of the field, in the widest sense, by historical studies of the highest quality. It is also the journal of the European Association for the History of Medicine and Health.
• Medical Humanities
  Medical Humanities is a leading international journal published by the BMJ Publishing Group that reflects the whole field of medical humanities. It features original articles relevant to the delivery of healthcare, the formulation of public health policy, the experience of being ill and of caring for those who are ill, as well as case conferences, educational case studies, book, film, and art reviews, editorials, correspondence, news and notes.
• Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine
  Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that encompasses all aspects of the philosophy of medicine and biology, and the ethical aspects of clinical practice and research. It also considers papers at the intersection of medicine and humanities, including the history of medicine, that are relevant to contemporary philosophy of medicine and bioethics.
