- American Association for the History of Medicine
The AAHM is a scholarly association dedicated to the study of the history of health, healing and disease. It is the longest continuously functioning academic society of this kind in North America. The membership of the Association includes historians, health professionals, librarians, curators and archivists as well as graduate students in history and the health sciences. Each spring the annual meeting of the AAHM offers a wealth of workshops, seminars, lectures and luncheons and includes over two days of peer-reviewed research and scholarship on the history of healing, health and disease.

The leading journal in its field for more than three quarters of a century, the Bulletin is the official publication of the American Association for the History of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Institute of the History of Medicine. Each issue spans the social, cultural, and scientific aspects of the history of medicine worldwide and includes reviews of recent books on medical history. The Club is a voluntary association of men and women interested in writing original essays on topics of their own choosing and in listening to other members present their research. Papers can be viewed online by subject including several papers on medical history.
- Health and History: Journal of the Australian and New Zealand Society for the History of Medicine
The Society's journal, Health and History, is published twice yearly. Its Editor is Dr Hans Pols, Director, Unit for History and Philosophy of Science at The University of Sydney. Health and History is peer reviewed and carries high quality research papers on the history of medicine and health, book review essays and other matters of interest
