Hektoen International was launched in the Fall 2008 as a free quarterly on-line journal dedicated to advancing the medical humanities. Published by the Hektoen Institute of Medicine, it features articles on art, anthropology, ethics, literature, health care, history, and humanities as related to medicine. It also maintains an art gallery and an online library for storing articles and reprints.
